In this edition, the upper is crafted using Lignify®—an innovative leather alternative made from lignin, a natural by-product of the paper industry. By transforming industrial waste into a high-quality material, it offers a premium look and feel with a more responsible approach to production.

Inside, the shoe is lined with a soft blend of bamboo and recycled PET, derived from post-consumer plastic waste, ensuring breathable comfort throughout the day. The insoles are made from recycled polyurethane, repurposed from mattress industry offcuts, providing cushioned support while reducing waste.

Thoughtfully designed from the ground up, the M89 Icon is ethically made in Portugal and packaged using 100% recycled and recyclable materials. As part of its commitment to environmental impact, two trees are planted for every pair sold.
